Propellers for VW Direct Drive Engines

These propellers are designed for Volkswagen Aero Conversions in tractor (prop in front) installations (left hand pitch).  They range from 52" to 62" in diameter and from 26" to 48" in pitch. A 54" x 48" propeller will suit a 2180 size VW on a faster aircraft such as Sonex, Sonari, KR2, Corby Starlet. A 62"x 30" suits the same engine on a slower aircraft such as a Clutton Fred.

Due to the wide variation in VW conversions, there is a wide range of options available, if you are unsure of your exact requirements, or if you think you need a size which is not listed, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Optional extras include:

• Alternating Victorian Ash and Mahogany (light and dark) laminations, which give the prop a beautiful "classic" look.
• Fully painted, white with coloured tips and matt black antiglare on the back face.
• Urethane leading edge protector.
• Tapered hub to suit the Sonex cowl and skull cap spinner (not included).
